He Helped Himself By Helping Others
"What started out as helping clients who owned U S Savings Bonds, turned into a great service which has helped me write new business. I already wrote close to $200,000 in new premiums, and I've only used the workshop educational seminar one time," says Robert R. (Bob) a Financial Planner in southwest Connecticut.

Bob's original reason for subscribing to the Platinum Plus Service was to prepare personalized, color-coded Savings Bond Performance Reports© for his existing clients. Some of them owned a couple hundred savings bonds and had no idea of their value - or even if the bonds were still earning interest. Initially, all Bob wanted to do was help his existing clients; he didn't realize the tremendous opportunity that he was uncovering.

Not only did he provide a valuable service for his current clients, but he has also converted numerous mature savings bonds - and a large number of poorly performing bonds, into a better investment for his clients - and commissions for himself.

Bob used the proceeds from the cashed-in bonds to purchase annuities that offer a much better return. "One of my clients is really happy that he has cashed in some bonds that weren't earning any interest, and also cashed-in some other low yielding bonds. He is now earning 8.22% for the next ten years in an equity indexed annuity." Approximately 35 very interested, highly qualified Savings Bond owners attended Bob's educational workshop. An additional 10-12 savings bond owners called to schedule one-on-one appointments. Bob said he was very impressed at how well the PowerPoint slides kept the attendee's attention for the 45 - 50 minute presentation, and how "they followed every line - no interruptions." By strategically moving matured bonds and other poorly performing savings bonds into annuity contracts, Bob says that he has earned in excess of $20,000.00 in commissions - from just two new accounts. His total cost for his first savings bond educational workshop - including the room rental and newspaper inserts - was less than $2,000.00. His Return On Investment (ROI) was approximately 10 times his initial cost - and he isn't finished following up with all of his fresh prospects - yet.

Bob reports that he is still receiving calls from Savings Bond owners two weeks AFTER the initial workshop. They are scheduled to attend future workshops. Four other workshops are already scheduled on Bob's calendar in the upcoming months. Not having to pay for expensive meals and the fancy restaurant kept his return on investment high.
